Good movie, but I feel it got less interesting after the focus settled on him loving her and the matter of escape.

I just saw it, and interestingly enough I'd have to disagree with your comment.

It's once that starts that you start to get into the real meta of the layers of deception and misdirection that're taking pace with the three characters and everything gets properly complicated. Whereas typically that turn in a story would be less interesting, it's the fact that it's an intentional misdirection on Nathan's part (i.e. the magician's act) and that Ava isn't a complete AI quite yet that end up making that bit of the story exceptionally interesting -- in fact moreso than it would be had she been a singularity-level AI.

Just saw it (came out this weekend here), and 15 min before it started I was the only one in the theatre. Eventually 4 other people showed up, but come on people, even then thats sad.

This movie was awesome. I'm not even sure where to begin talking about it so I won't, but I'll say there's something magical about an entire theatre (even if it is 5 people) not making a motion to move once the credits come up, and sit in silence to process what they just saw.
