Are you talking about the English release subs? If so...Well, the subs were never really accurate. I don't speak Japanese, but some lines were just way off. In the subs, didn't it say "oh, poor little me" or something when Aerith was saying the zuru line? That itself tipped me off that something was off. It's strange, though, that the English release as to "improve dialogue" when the point of subs is to get the correct line with the Japanese language track playing.

Oh wow! How could I forget that one? Cid had the best lines, but I tend to be much more fixated on Nero.

Some epic ones have indeed been mentioned here, including Sephiroth's "You will rot," "Yes, for real," and Cid's "Sit your ass down in that chair and drink some god damn TEA!" In fact I quote that one quite often when I make tea for other people.

I also like Cid's quip in OTWTAS that's something to the effect of "God? You get his ass down here, I got to have words with him."

Now for my VinLu sappiness:

This isn't exactly a spoken line but written dialogue, of when Angeal, who had Zack with him and flew to the ShinRa building, said to Sephy -

"Sephiroth? Have you lost weight?"

ROFL! I think it was meant to be a joke and Sephy had this look on his face LOL! Alot of my favorite lines have alreayd been mentioned, but here's some others of mine -

"I know, I'm not alone... not anymore." ~ Cloud

"Damn! They're gonna PAY for that!" ~ Cid (I love the way his english VA said that XD.)

I can't realyl think of any other ones that havent been said already so ya LOL.

Also, Angeal's follow up line of 'I see you're in your usual mood' or something to that effect.

Sephiroth does seem to be quite the moody guy...

Hmmmm... Well, that could be the case; but, yes, I'm talking about the official release of Advent Children in North America.

The English subtitles track 'translate' Rufus as saying 'It's Nightmare Junior.' That just cracks me up - but, if he's not really saying that...

The first subtitles I saw I for that line were funny for the awkward transliteration:

"I feel sorry for you who lacks filial piety. *toss*"

Haha, somehow lacks the punch of "A good son would've known."
