FF Couple Tournament Round 3: Cecil/Rosa vs Tidus/Yuna

I'm going with Cecil/Rosa. It's my favorite FF Couple next to CloTi and AerTi. And it annoys me when people say they don't like Rosa because she's a damsel in distress. Is there really anything wrong with being a Damsel in Distress? And it's not like she could help it. How was she supposed to know she'd get desert fever in Kaipo, or get kidnapped by Golbez? Sure the former is kinda her fault but Cecil calls her out on it, and the latter is definitely not her fault, if anyone's it's Golbez's(cause he kidnapped her) or Cecil's(he accidentally let Golbez on to the fact that she's important to him). And for the sake of argument Yuna's just as much a damsel and distress as Rosa is, for those of you intending to vote Tuna because "Rosa's too much of a damsel in distress".

I struggled to care about any of the characters in X. So my vote goes to Cecil/Rosa.

Tidus/Yuna for me. I still think it's one of the best couples in videogames. I found it difficult to be interested about Cecil/Rosa. Not that I didn't like them, they worked for their story. But Tidus/Yuna was just more compelling (even if the characters themselves were meh)

Definitely Tidus/Yuna. They were one of the first couples of the series I really enjoyed watching their relationship bloom from start to end. It was obvious they both liked each other, but circumstances would've prevented them from it if they hadn't killed Seymour.

Cecil/Rosa. I find it a lot more interesting than Tidus/Yuna because it's already in progress when the game starts, and it moves through stages that a lot of other FF romances are never depicted going through.

I like Tidus and Yuna and the tragedy behind their story, but FFX has never really clicked for me as some of the other FF games did. I don't know why, but it never really did, so my vote went to Cecil and Rosa. I actually like how they were already in a relationship before the game even began. It's a little different from some of the later FF couples, but the devotion between Cecil and Rosa was always something I found to be an admirable quality. I suppose, in a sense, theirs is a very matured kind of love which has developed over time, compared to the love-at-first-sight kind that's sometimes displayed in other FF games. That's one of the reasons why I like Cecil and Rosa so much.
