FF14 TLS Guild thread

I'd probably join a TLS guild if my interest in online gaming increased by the time FFXIV is released and if they offer an acceptable method of payment (that is, not by credit card).
The reason I'm usually not interested in online RPGs is because I don't wanna cooperate with random online people who I don't care about.
If it's awesome people from TLS, then I'd be all for it.

A lot of big games use pay by cash. You go into a bank, deposit money in their account and within 2-5 days it'll go through. Or I suggested getting a debit card. much less painless than credit and you can use on paypal as well.

Tetsujin, you backwards fuck. Don't they have one of those quick cash cards you can get at a store and just put money on it, and it's like...a non-bank issued debit card? Something more like a gift card? Cards are convenient as long as you don't max them or overdraft them

Most of those cards now function like real credit cards so they should. I doubt they'd discriminate against money

Just some points.
* If you lot are that serious about FFXIV, why not make it a separate site? Could be a subsite of TLS, it's a strong name / domain etc.
* It'll be out in a year already? Fuck me.
* Grind MMOs suck ass, as do those that play it. This includes 99.9% of all MMO's, btw.

That said im up for up for buying a vB license(or splitting the cost what ever works
) and shelling out for a decent yet small host monthly as well.But i know fuck all about building a site, i have a decent idea of how to install vB and what not but beyond that if it was left to me the site would be built upon really basic html tables lul.

Lol why would you need Munatik's permission? I don't think we voted her leader. And I think the application criteria should involve some more group input with guidance from whoever we do decide to be our leader, and it's way too early to decide something like that.
And for what it's worth, I was the first one who mentioned that a guild/clan would be neat, then I believe Tetsujin or Dacon agreed.
Then a few pages later Munatik prodded to get it started.
Oh, and if we can name/rename guild ranks, we need a rank of "flunky." Because I said so.
Oh yeah, and obviously I'm in.
"The Lifestream" might sound kinda gay as a guild name though. Maybe just "TLS" and people can ask us what it stands for if they're curious enough.

The Lifestream is a good name. I don't see any problem with it. TLS is just too short imho. As for who's leading gabe would be a good choice. Only because he's the only other person I know who's had 3 years experience on the same mmo.
