FF7 PC Widescreen Mods

A bunch of you will already be on the Tsunamods server but the mods that have just been showcased are excellent - finally zoom out on the world map and re-done widescreen backgrounds for FFVII.

Ok the last one is incredible, holy shit.

The Limit Break mod is the mod I’ve been waiting for. Combined with the shadows mod and the Ninostyle chibis (both in the video) it cleanly fulfills my dream of a fully updated visual presentation of FF7’s fields and minigames.

The Gaia mod, however, I never saw coming and is truly awe inspiring. My mouth is just watering at it. Can’t wait to play.

All that’s left is replacing the quack sound in the menus with something less grating, and a music overhaul mod, and the perfect FF7 is within our reach.

There are a few mods that do this yes, but not tailored to my specific tastes . When the whole soundtrack is remade via Ever Crisis, it will be time to make the music mod. Sound overhaul mods tend to do too much, I’m just looking to replace the duck.
