Thanks for making a longer loop of the fun part during Smash 'Em, Rip 'Em. I always walk real slow while controlling Aerith in Corneo's mansion just to soak in the music.

Could you possibly get your hands on the music from the awesome cutscene, where party is escaping Shinra Building? The motorcycle mayhem one - I really need it in my life.

Beyond the missing tracks, I've read discussions elsewhere on how the soundtrack didn't receive the best mixing. Firstly, the transition between phases in battle tracks isn't always handled well or naturally. One example is Rufus Shinra, where there's a clearly placed cross-fade between the first and second phases (around the 2:05 mark). Secondly, some tracks are missing entire parts. The biggest example is Midgar Expressway, which is missing a guitar solo among other things. Fans have attempted to re-edit the tracks and I particularly wanted to highlight r/ndaoust's efforts. Here's a link to their Reddit post (which includes their google drive of re-edits) and an explanation on how they addressed Midgar Expressway:

Midgar Expressway
This is the big one, as the official release has many nonsensical transitions and skips over a guitar solo, a sick drop, and a callback to the original track (which you can hear restored at 3:07, 7:16 and 10:30). That last one was hard to transition to, so I get why they skipped it; I had to de-escalate part 8's music back to part 7 to handle it.

I don't know much about mixing or editing, but I found their re-edit to be an upgrade. The track is more engaging with the impactful transitions.

Do you have Destiny's Crossroads or where it can be streamed?

r/ndaoust's google drive includes the Destiny's Crossroads melody.

Speaking of Destiny's Crossraods, I felt really big brained when I realized the dramatic, sweeping melody is taken right from the opening part of "Opening ~ Bombing Mission".

I don't know if it was posted here, but I've found this old SC page today with what it looks like leaked/datamined soundtrack: https://soundcloud.com/gshsh-hshsh-980359405
There are a lot of tracks from the final game but with different arrangement/mastering and some of them sound pretty rough/unfinished.
But the most interesting are the tracks with completely new themes. These 2 in particular:
- bgm_ungd6_07_cut (Music/Section0)
- bgm_mako1_08#2 (Music/vs_last_cut)
The second track cuts off at the most interesting moment. I really want to hear the rest of that track!

It is from Dirge of Cerberus.

From Crisis Core (or Advent Children?).

bgm_mako1_08#2 (Music/vs_last_cut) is Savior from Advent Children.

bgm_ungd6_07_cut (Music/Section0) is from Dirge of Cerberus. I recognize the first half but can't recall the title of the track but the second half is from Fight Tune "Messenger of the Dark"

edit: I think the first half might be Lucrecia Crescent

I'm looking for the track "A New Beginning." The one that plays before hollow, when Cloud and the gang decide to hunt Sephiroth.

Tetsujin, msia2k75 - thank you! I have the AC ost but I purposely don't listen the whole soundtrack until I watch that movie. Or should I say re-watch? I watched it 10 years ago but I don't remember much now, especially the music. I haven't played Dirge, but I watched the cutscenes movie on youtube. I gotta find that ost now.

Tetsujin the first half of the track from Dirge is called "Memories with Lucrecia"
