Do you hula the hoop while you do the housework?
If I could find a way to hoop while cleaning I would actually get stuff done, but it's a bit hard to find part of me that isn't involved in cleaning to spin the hoop on in a way that doesn't hit stuff.
I'm intrigued now. What got you into hooping in the first place? You're so skilful.
(1) Me father was a dragon, apparently. A dragon that ate hula hoops for breakfast. With unicorn milk.
(2) WiiFit hooping simulator
(3) Roommate moved in with two large adult hula hoops -- it's easier to learn on larger ones, slower + fewer rotations to 'keep it up' [nudgenudge]
(4) Saw someone hoop fire, saw someone LED hoop with their foot
I stuck with it mainly because it helps me cope with frustration, anger and stress, which at the time I started hooping was overwhelming. Mesolimbic dopamine every time I succeed in figuring out a new trick adds to the fun/addictive quality of it. Also: '
flow.'
