Real life has been draining enough of my patience, I don't need internet arguments draining even more of it. I've stepped down from staff for now because I just can't be arsed dealing with the bullshit right now. Not sure whether it's temporary or not. May be less active as well, since I'm aware that I've been wasting altogether too much time posting at stupid forums. Whether I have enough willpower to do anything about it is another question entirely.

I need to get the fuck out of Florida to somewhere where there's a half-decent job market. Maybe I'll start making concrete plans toward that extent.

DC looks like it might be a good idea. The federal government is one of the few employers that's actually expanding right now, and it also happens to be one of the largest in the country. I'm reneging on what it says in my forum biography, but hell, I'm growing convinced the government can't be changed if honest people don't get in on the inside as well anyway. Definitely. We had a round of layoffs in March, and three of our former employees ended up finding jobs with the gov't in DC. They all found their jobs here.
