Guts: A trippy and horrifying short story.

Read this today during my work break. It's called Guts. Warning. This is a scary, and horrifying little short story. Don't read if you get queasy or gross out easily.

But if you feel intrigued and aren't scared, give it a read. You might be amused. Or hate me.

Anyways, post your thoughts. This certainly is something teenage boys should read before attempting anything stupid.

That's..not necessarily true, although that could happen as well. But it is possible for your entire large intestine to rupture and literally be pulled out of your, intact, and not inside out. I've seen images of transanal evisceration, specifically...an image of a weight lifter who apparently was squatting and lifting so much, that his bowel literally....fell out of his ass. Just like a huge ass tube snake.

Valid point. Still, I would prefer to keep my suspension of disbelief at a point where I can just laugh at the story and say 'dayum that shit is nasty'

And of course, that sort of surgery is real. All humans are, in the end, just very large and complicated tube guts.

I remember when I was 14 and I thought Chuck Palahniuk was soooo cooool after watching Fight Club the first time. Then I actually read the book and hated it lol.

Actually, this story reads a lot better than the books of his I've read. Makes me think I should give him another shot. Then again, I usually I have trouble getting through descriptive gore. Funny enough, cinematic gore doesn't bother me too much.
