Like I said on FB, Flare, I really have next to no words to describe how grateful I am for this. I stumbled onto TLS when outside, saw a thread with my name in the title, and was a grinning lunatic to the public.
Your wishes are very touching. Alas, no special dreams of said description (I sometimes do hold out on the idea something distinctly magical again like that will happen on a birthday)
but still I've had a nice day:

I had a great day in the end, thanks in part to this very thread as well, so thank you for your well wishes.
Didn't do anything party-esque, but I did take a much-needed day to not work on anything. Was most needed after I couldn't shift away a head pain lasting five/six days.
Enjoyed a walk around my favourite spot on the back beach.
Thank you again, everyone, for the birthday wishes. They really mean a lot to me Love you all.
