Hello everyone!
I'm going to describe myself as both an old and new member... I joined years ago back in 2009 right after this website came alive, rebooting itself from what used to be Advent Children Forums.net, I think... I sort of fell off the scene because most of the friends I had made kind of went off the grid in one way or another, and I had just recently joined the military out of high school after I joined the forums, and so life took some very hectic turns for the past 5-7 years.
I had been debating for awhile on whether or not to become active on the forums again, and I say 'debating' because now that I'm a full-time student for the first time in 7 years, the internet has become such a distraction and I have not the strength to put schoolwork first sometimes.
But, now I've realized that with this game having been an integral part of my life for so long (and with a severe lack of friends to squeal about it with) I'm saying to hell with it and coming back to my old stomping grounds. I remember how this place used to help me so much as a high school kid barely coming into her own; I think I need that more than ever now that I'm an an "adult" and at this giant crossroads in my life.
I'm sure it seems like I'm jumping back on the bandwagon now that the remake has been announced, but don't take the piss out of me too much, OK?
Ah, what a time to be alive. Final Fantasy VII is getting remade... I still just cannot believe it. I've been in perpetual state of happiness since I found out on Monday night.
It's great to be back.
