Hello! I'm (at least to all of you) new here! I've actually been a lurker here for... quite some time now (since around the time when Lightning Returns was announced I think, though I've been familiar with the site itself for quite a bit longer than that). It seems to me that the time has arrived to stop being a lurker though, so I'm going to do my best to join in from now on!
(Please forgive me though if I sometimes fail to observe proper forum etiquette, as I've never really been a part of a forum before (beyond lurking, that is).)
Introduction... Let's see, what should I say...
*ahem* My name is Bethany, but my nickname is Chibi because I'm very short (4'9'', it's true). I prefer being called Chibi, but I will answer to either. (I suppose you can also call me Saria.) I'm twenty-six, and I live in Utah in the U.S.
The Legend of Zelda (Ocarina of Time specifically) got me into video games when I was about ten years old, and from there I was eventually introduced to Kingdom Hearts (my favorite thing ever, despite it's flaws) and then Final Fantasy. FF7 is by far my favorite FF, followed by FF8. After that, I'm a little iffy on the order, but I like all the ones I've played. *nods* (I still need to play 1 - 6, though.)
Hmm, that's all I can think of for basic relevant info... if you would like to know anything else, feel free to ask. *nods*
I am very shy (even with the general anonymity of the Internet), and working up the courage to post in the FFXV thread earlier was super nerve-wracking. I think it's taken me nearly an hour to write this post, and I haven't even said very much! >.<
Anyway, that being said, I'm glad to be here and look forward to chatting with everyone! I'll admit I'm a bit star-struck, because you all are like mythical online celebrities to me that I didn't think I would ever interact with. (I'll try not to be too awkward.) I don't have many people in real life I can geek out with about stuff, so I'm kinda excited.
