The radio job was amazing. It's honestly the best job I've ever had. I was a newscaster so I got to report on local news stories that would go into a show we did every day. I also put the show together once a week, recorded interviews, put together segments for shows, had a radio show, and did radio theater. I've never had so much fun at a job. I even got to record a couple interviews with a former Secretary of Defense. (He seemed... grumpy a lot tbh.)
The newspaper job, meanwhile, was... less pleasant. The company was really great and most of the people I worked with were awesome. It was just that specific positioned tended to be super stressful. (The longest anyone has lasted in that position is three years.)
