Hello all, longtime FF fan here. Used to hang out at FF:WA for years back in the day (late 90's that is, PS1 era) but sadly it's been an empty ghost town for a long time now. As FFVII was my first and still favorite FF (and favorite game of all time), I'm very excited for the remake. Hope to make some friends here, have some fun, and talk some FF.

Is this the FF:WA you are referring to? That is indeed a time capsule of the late 90s and early 00s era.

Yep, that's the one. It was my online home back in those days, though I went by another name there. The forums seem to be down, not that they've been very active for a long time, dunno how long that's gone on for, though. Sad to see it so empty, I've got some fond memories of the place.

The last functional save on the wayback machine is from 2018-02-03, so the forum probably shut down between 15-6 months ago. Since the earliest save is from 2015-07-06 though I reckon that a different URL for the forum was used before that time. EDIT: Or the website didn't allow the spiders used by the wayback machine until 2015, seeing as not even the frontpage has saves from before that year.

EDIT #2: Aaaand here is the forum as it was between 2011 and 2015. Sorry for hogging your thread with this archival dig.

Lol it's ok, I don't mind. I appreciate you sharing it. Too bad it doesn't seem to have some of the individual threads, there are a few I wouldn't mind finding again if I could.
