I have recently become a huge fan of Evangelion itself back in February of this year and I firmly believe the original TV series itself can actually teach many things. In my opinion, Neon Genesis Evangelion is not simply an anime, but a slow, twisted and warped descent into the minds of several characters in particular and has much to show about the bounds of the human mind, which eventually leads into End of Evangelion. Rebuild of Evangelion, while not as good as the original, but still great, imo, also has it's own interesting and re-imagined mysteries as it seems so far. (I will reserve overall judgement until after 4.0 is released.)

Anyone who is a fan of the show and the franchise itself is free to join and standard club rules apply. Fanarts, Fanfictions, etc are really appreciated .

Not sure how you can say this with a straight face, considering Rebuild is only half finished ._.

Big fan. Don't really join clubs though, because they tend to be dominated by shippers

^ I know it's only half-finished, I just hold the original TV series in high regard, and I did state it was my opinion xD. But I won't judge completely til it is over.

So far, I enjoy rebuild much more than I ever did the original, and I loved the original for the most part.

Of course I enjoyed the original series, but the new Rebuild movies have this odd component, in which we don't really know whether they're a "re-imagining" of the series, or a sequel... (Yes, I do believe there's things that make the sequel theory possible).

Oh, and I'm a huge Asuka fan. I mean, I love the three kids, and Misato, and everything, but Asuka's just... beyond that. I tend to identify myself with Shinji and Asuka, for most of the part, because of their personalities, but Asuka has a bit of the edge. Perhaps I identify myself with her a bit more (despite the obvious difference which is that she's a girl, ahem).

I got into Eva fairly recently, ripped through the anime in a couple of days and loved it (until the last 2 eps, but I won't get into that). Rebuild has just taken what was already awesome and refined it into even more awesome.

Misato and Asuka are definitely my faves.
