SPOILERS I can confirm that Wedge is .....

I can confirm that Wedge is thrown out of the window in Chapter 17 by the Whispers. Before, we only had the sound of the glass shattering and assumed the Whispers threw out Wedge, but I can confirm that he IS thrown out with these screenshots I took while playing through the game again.

If this was already confirmed with pictures and/or interview with the developers, or through the Ultimania. Then sorry.. If not, then I guess we can stop assuming or stop hoping that he was not since he was thrown out. If he lives/survives, don't know. At least, now we see him thrown out and not just hear the glass/window shatter.

That's so weird you'd find this out today too, lol

I also found out today you could still do photo mode while the screen fades to black via sitting on a bench to rest. I was gonna curiously try this out when I got to it to see what happened. That's so cool.

I was casually trying to take pictures of Cloud sitting and resting on a bench when I too noticed that even though the screen have faded to black, you can still make the screen appear when going into Photo Mode. Tested on Cutscenes, worked fine so now I almost do it whenever the screen fades to black to see if there is anything worth capturing. Just like with Wedge??

I am not even sure why fandom is so divided on what happened there. It was already extremely clear in the fade to black version.

I think it's because people feel that if Biggs is alive, they should all be alive. But also, it's because in this game even the most unambiguous death can be reversed. If Wedge can survive the S7 plate falling on his head and then dropping down into Deepground, why can't he survive falling from the top of the Shinra Tower? If Zack's alive, anybody can be alive. People can even be simultaneously alive and dead.
