I'm having problems with my signature

Okay I've tried at least twice now to put this in my signature:

Is there some reason this keeps getting removed? Do we not allow linking to deviant art or something?

But I swear I tried quite a few times to change it and it didn't work... but ... feh now I just looks stupid so uh...

It's showing up on mine at the moment xD Just go into signatures, and press the yellow box that looks like a painting and put the img code in there. That's what I did, and it worked (:

The second instance of editing a sig not working in the last few days.

While not much to go by, I'm wondering if there's something wonky going on with the forum.

I guess, make sure to bring it up if it happens again.

I've had that as well. Open the forum in a new browser, or clear your cache. It's a browser thing.

Got it to work in a round-a-bout way.

I uploaded it via the "manage uploads" option in a normal forum post and then opened that attachment in a different tab and dragged it over to the signature space

Are you trying to put a gif in your sig or in a forum post?

If you want to put a gif in your sig I would suggest using an image hosting site such as Photobucket or Tinypic or Image Shack (or hotlinking from Tumblr ) and doing it that way.

Dredged up this thread to ask if anyone understands why I suddenly can't update my sig pic? I get this message.

Note: The maximum size of your custom image is 500 by 300 pixels or 9.8 KB (whichever is smaller).

All my previous sig pics were 500 by 300 on the dot and 60 odd kb, and got accepted like that. What changed? 10kb is unreasonably tiny.

I don't know why the total for registered users got decreased, but I've increased it to 100,000 bytes now. Let me know if you need it increased further.

Probably not, . I've upped it for donators, but TBPH I don't remember the original size - do enlighten me.

150x300 sounds right for avatars, yes. I could probably increase it to 175x350 if people want, even, since that's the maximum possible without stretching tables.

Ehh, 175 wide is alright, idk about height, postbits (esp. yours) tend to get rather tall,
