the only thing i can say is that people can't handle being called out on their gross behavior on this site and i guess im leaving because honestly this site now freaks me out and grosses me out more than ever like,, ive read comments on this disgusting forum about... how people think rape is male instinct, how men can just jerk off to member pics and it's totally okay (and jokes about it are totally ok too wow! ), how certain people express interest in fucking their siblings and mother??? htat's fucking disgusting i actually feel like puking after coming here and reading that garbage???

I agree that the post in particular should have had a much better spoiler warning. I can see how this grew into feelings towards this being a predatory thing. I didn't feel that way, but I did go "woah! that's certainly... taking it to the next level." Their intention was most likely never to creep people out though. You were not their target audience. But you had access, as I did, and even though the thread title suggests explicit, this post should have come with a warning.

But also, there are many ways of saying "this is not okay" without making the poster feel shameful about their sexuality.

I think it's sad that clashes like this happen because people see things from completely different angles. Feelings need to be respected.

I was happy when you returned and started posting again. I was glad to see things were working out well. I hate misunderstandings. And I'm sad to see you go.

I think you obviously feel strongly about this & can understand how you feel the way you do though I think that you are taking some things out of context & viewing them with blinkers on then discussing them in very strong terms which imo only serves to inflame your feelings of negativity about the situation in the first place. But we all view with different lenses and you are entitled to your opinion.

However, while I can respect your opinion on the issues you raised I can't overlook you saying this is not a FF site. I don't think that's fair or accurate since the issues you mentioned happened in member only areas & in the donator's domain - 3 areas as far as I can see. The General section of this site, lively as it is, does not make up the whole forum & there are plenty of people who post in the FF & gaming areas who don't frequent the General section very often, if at all.

There are a lot of members on this site who have put in a lot of hard work & their time to create, contribute & cultivate the FF side of it & by insinuating that this is a front for sexual grooming is downright wrong & disrespectful of the efforts they put in.

Whatever you may think of the general section, I hope that when you calm down you will acknowledge the FF sections and respect them for what they are & the people who have put a lot of hard work into them. I believe that is what your $10 went towards.

There are a lot of things I wish to say, but from your tone I gather that you are too angry to take on other people's views at the moment. I hope you will re-read a lot of what has offended you in the future & are able to see the situations in a new light with a wider context. (EG the siblings thing, I think you need to re-read that & pay attention to what has actually been said).

As someone who has been groomed & abused, I do feel very strongly about your insinuation that this site is to lure people in to the clutches of sexual predators. This is not a grooming site, if it were you'd not be objecting nor leaving & you'd have been abused by now. None of these things have happened & if this bunch of wallies are sexual predators they are the most ineffective ones I've ever seen!


TL;DR: There are aspects of this forum that you don't agree with & find disgusting & I respect that, but that doesn't make it not a FF site & the conversations in 3 threads do not sexual predators nor abusers make & I feel very strongly that by hinting that it does is very wrong on your part. Call them out, call them disgusting, fine. Call them a sex predator, not right, accurate nor fair.

I should also point out that Celes' access to the donator section (which, as Omega pointed out, she didn't pay for anyway) was revoked for discussing the contents of that section outside of that section. If she hadn't flounced we would also be giving her an infraction or even a temp ban for her absurd flaming.

Also too, it's a condition of donation that payments are non-refundable. Otherwise people could use donation to try to affect the direction of the site, natch.

Most folks disagreed with my (yeah, it was me) proposals about hetero male sexuality (yourself included), though I'd like to think everyone agreed with what I said about how we should be educating males to respect others' personal space, to recognize what does or does not qualify as consent, and to value consent.

If any of that amounts to endorsing rape in anyone's mind, that's their own dissociative hangup to square with reality.
