The characters in F tier make my skin crawl, but arguably that’s why they should be higher (because they’re successful villains)

Overall, this is probably a not very controversial listing. I put Kyrie and the other Nomura FFVII Remake Deviant Art-tier OCs (...even though they’re all his characters, I know) at the bottom of C tier because they were definitely lame, but not that bad in retrospect. Though I was never particularly glad to see them...

The Wall Market leaders get a spot in B tier for how much they flesh that area out, and they’re all just a lot of fun.

But nothing can beat the OG characters, so they tend to rank higher. Zack didn’t do anything in Remake and arguably shouldn’t even be there, but I put him where he is because he’s Zack.

The Turks all get higher spots than the other villains. Sephy at his best in Remake is really good, but he isn’t always consistently on point - he has some lame moments mixed in as well. But he’s still good enough to deserve a better ranking.

Jessie gets a good ranking in spite of a horrific fan base. She is a really good character in Remake, and they gave her the most fleshed out backstory in AVALANCHE.

Yeah, Tierlist is fun, although I find it annoying that you can't delete things from the lists you make, even when my list is for personal use only.
Also, I wish you could just search for things like characters that others have added in other lists instead of having to make everything from scratch, and that I didn't have to login with freaking twitter.

I think this is pretty accurate, only problem is that some I judged by their character in general, while I judged others by specifically what we saw off them in the remake. Zack obviously isn't a top tier character in the Remake, and Cloud obviously is if you take his entire journey, but for some reason I felt like judging with different standards based on each character.

That's some great quality cool stuff! I found the ranging from "those I like" vs "those I don't like" a bit too mundane though, so...

P.S. I couldn't keep from including that Rammstein reference.
The German word "Tier" means "beast" or simply "animal"; the pronunciation is the same. Rammstein have a song called "Tier" where the singer blames the antagonist for doing some horrible deeds and asks him, "What are you? A mere animal". It's super fitting since Red was asked the same thing and basically he is an animal after all. Coincidentally, the application above is for making tiers, so I couldn't stop playing this song in my head!
