Jenova's Eye color.

This thought just occurred to me recently while I was watching an episode of Doctor Who. Don't ask me why, but it just popped in there like a mischievous imp and yes you could say I'm really just making a big who-ha about something so petty, but here it goes.

What color are Jenova's eyes exactly?

I know most people have calmed that Sephiroth got his traits from Jenova. Though I can understand the silver hair being a part of it, I don't understand about the eyes. Jenova's eye color, it seems, is violet in that major scene of hers in advent children. Sephiroth's eye color--and I would assume---but be because of all that mako that was pumped into him at an early age (I'm also assuming with the jenova cells, they did contribute to other factors--like his cat-like eyes.

So it my question, once again, boils down to this: Are her eyes actually violet or are they green?

Are they green when she's alive or do they turn violet when she dies?

good question, i was actually curious about this too. i'd like to think they're just violet tho since it seems to be the only color we've seen them in, iirc.

Since Jenova has shapeshifting capabilities, guessing her/its eye colour would be near impossible.

Even octopodes and chameleons have a "natural eye color" when they're not actively altering it.

She does have the one glowing eye, but I swear there's gotta be a better shot of her other eye somewhere....

Wow, that's pretty interesting considering that her natural eye color could illuminate as violet or perhaps can be a whole spectrum of colors as one sees her is pretty cool.

Until Advent Children I never had any inkling that that was her eye glowing. I always thought that the helmet had like a visor on the front and that was reflecting some light source.

And it still looks too far over to me to be her eye (in that shot, of course in the AC one it is)
Off-topic, I know, but I was just surprised when AC came out and I learned that that was her eye.

And since Synthesis was described as the Jenova form closest to her/its original one, it's safe to assume that Jenova's eyes are originally red.

Well I recently watched Advent Children again and I did notice in the brief time they showed Jenova her eyes were red. Don't know but I would agree with ForceStealer and Dark and Divine.
