so like. remember when kairi was a thing that was important in this series and got to be on covers?
Well she isn't really in any of the games in 2.8, so
so like. remember when kairi was a thing that was important in this series and got to be on covers?
yeah but kairi already did that like 60 games ago before they decided to just not do anything with her character in favour of making like a dozen sora and xehanort clones
Stop having a goddamn meltdown all the time. It's just one month.
And I don't know how you keep inferring anything about KH3's release date considering they never mentioned anything about that.
Not only that, I was also hoping that Jump Festa would at least reveal the release date of KH3 for 2017 since that seemed a bit likely with 2.8 supposed to be coming out this year. But now it's another two year delay for KH3 all over again, unless they suddenly decide to make another spin-off to delay KH3 for 2019(god forbid).
But now it's another two year delay for KH3 all over again
Edit: And Kairi wasn't on the cover in 2.5. (Neither was Lea/Axel) There was only Sora, Data-Sora, Data-Riku, Mickey, Donald, Goofy, Roxas, Aqua, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, Ansem, and Xemnas and a bunch of Keyblades.
What are you talking about? What two year delay for KH3?! Where are you getting this delay stuff from? You're not making any sense!
Maybe you should stop expecting games for a specific year when they have never said anything about any release windows whatsoever.
Uh... when was the first two year delay? KH III has had 0 delays thus far because a release date hasn't even been announced. But now it's another two year delay for KH3 all over again
Oh you're right, for some reason I remember seeing her there. ... well poop, she should be thereEdit: And Kairi wasn't on the cover in 2.5. It's just that everytime KH3 seems closer when a game that's supposed to lead directly into it is released, all of the sudden Nomura comes up with another idea to delay it even further, because the more he develops more spin-offs that weren't originally planned, the more it delays his work on KH3. Or the remasters since KH3 was gonna be for PS3, but like FFXV(back when it was still Versus XIII) it was ported up to PS4.
Not only that, each development of other KH games keeps on delaying KH3 for another two years
2012 when Dream Drop Distance first game out. Back then, when KH3 was finally announced a year later, I seriously hoped it would be out in 2014. Then 1.5 happened. A year later, I'm hoping for a 2015 release, then 2.5 happened. In 2015, I hoped for this year to be the release year. Then 2.8 happened. This year, I hoped for next year to be the release year. Then the delay for 2.8 for 2017 happened.
If that's not delaying Nomura to finally finish working on KH3 that's been in development for much longer than he began working on FFVII Remake and to announce the release date for KH3, then I don't know.
said who? lol, I don't remember reading this. I'm fairly certain they've said PS4 since the beginning. I remember years ago thinking, "I have to buy a PS4 when this comes out."Or the remasters since KH3 was gonna be for PS3, but like FFXV(back when it was still Versus XIII) it was ported up to PS4.
Tasha, to be fair, and honest, a lot of that sounds like your own fault. You were assuming things when there was no evidence for it.
Now please stop. >_<
Please please please

Then that's THEIR fault. Just because everyone's hoping for one thing doesn't mean it's someone else's fault when it doesn't happen. I'm hoping Demyx is in KH III in some form so we know his fate but is it going to be Square's fault if he isn't? Or my own?Plus, I'm not the only one who believed in what I just said. Lots of people were expecting KH3 to come out either last year, or this year, or next year, and then this happens. Check up the KH13 Forums for example.
Well then fine. I'm sorry for being stupid for the past four years. I'm still blaming Square for coming up ideas that delays development for their other games by making new ones in that time-frame, though. Seriously a bad move during the development of KH3 by continuously making new KH3 titles to make things more confusing.
I was thinking the latter, the former would imply Vexen or someone from OrgXIII had something to do with it, and I doubt they did....
speaking of, I really hope we see Even in KH III
Usually when new information is released I speak about it in interviews with the media etc., but this time the opportunity didn't line up, so I'm going to speak to you directly through Twitter.
First, I must apologise. As was stated today, due to the adjustment of contiguous titles, our estimated release date for KINGDOM HEARTS 2.8 of December 2016 has become (for Japan) the 12th January 2017. To everyone who was looking forward to a release before the end of the year, I'm so sorry. Please rest assured that development itself is moving along as planned without a single issue and we are nearly finished.
There will again be two kinds of demo booths at TGS, 0.2 and DDD. The number of DDD booths in particular will be quite low, so if you have your heart set on experiencing KH at 60fps, please leave plenty of time to come to the booths. The smoothness and feel of the controls of DDD in actual motion is very fresh. Also, the 0.2 demo booths are the same style as the ones that were out at E3 this year. That means the style is already different compared to the style in the trailer we just released. The final commercial version is currently undergoing even more quality upping, but I think you can get a pretty good taste of the controls themselves from the demo. Please take this chance to get a feel of the first KH game produced for PS4.
In the trailer released at the same time as this message, I included some rather interesting scenes, as this won't be the last trailer, and it's designed to make you look forward to what's coming next. Best of all, the Hikaru Utada's Hikari -Ray of Hope Mix- included in the trailer was remixed ESPECIALLY FOR the opening of 0.2. Please look forward to getting to hear this new version of Hikari along with the opening movie.
With the development deadline approaching we are currently busy with last-minute work on 2.8, but for the first time in history our box art was actually ready before the release date announcement. I think I'll let the awesomeness of this miraculous planning speak for how well things are going. By the way, it will of course be compatible with the PS4Pro, so be excited. Furthermore, the other game we are working on while doing this, KH3, is coming along steadily. There are new worlds in which you can run, jump, [spoilers], [spoilers]... I'm very excited about moving Sora around in the wider space with his higher range of maneuverability. Next year is the 15th year anniversary, and first there's the release of 2.8, then that same month Unchained χ gains multiplayer functionality, and in March the full orchestra world tour (reservations for which opened today) begins, and actually, there's something else being planned for around then that I can't announce yet… One way or another, I think next year will be full of chances for me to announce new information, and I will be blessed to have reached fifteen memory-filled years with all of you.
Kingdom Hearts series director Tetsuya Nomura
I think we will see Even in KH3. Surely he recovered to full health by now after DDD like Dilan. Those two had the worst luck of recovering while Lea, Ienzo, Aeleus(ugh, I can never get his name right) and Braig before hand all recovered and re-adapted as humans again fairly quickly.
Unless the reason why they haven't recovered yet is because they are both....already half-Xehanort themselves and the others don't even know it yet.
Speaking of which, I think I have a theory on why KH358/2 Days logo is coloured red and KHBirth by Sleep is coloured blue.
Red represents Axel's struggles in losing Roxas and Xion and slowly becoming who he is in KH2 before reviving as Lea, and Blue represents Aqua who loses her friends and becomes trapped in the Realm of Darkness.
Or maybe it's because they are the only two supporting characters in the most important games of the series that survive or revive to one day join Sora, since the other main playable characters either died or become lost for Sora to rescue.
If you really think about it, Lea's/Axel's hair is red, and Aqua's is blue, and both logos of both games match their hair colours. Ya' know what I mean?
