The death of some is a possibility but the death of nearly all original character I do not consider likely. Most characters that have died thus far were brought back cause it is exceedingly difficult to truly die in this universe.

As I said, "That's what I think will happen" because I'm not completely right, but it's just a gut feeling that I have. Plus, we have yet to see more trailers next month and since the game is the darkest of all Kingdom Hearts games so far, not to mention on what we've seen happened to Aqua, what else could be more hard to accept than our favorites ending up dead?

And if you're wondering about the Legend of the Three Caballeros TV series, it's been aired in the Phillipines with English voice cast and all 13 episodes had been posted onto Youtube for a while before they were taken down and I managed to watch them beforehand. You can also find info on that on Wikipedia and whatnot.

I'm not so fussed about a non kh related series, my main query was how your establishing links between TV and the game when I haven't seen a single reference by the game creators that a death is on the horizon. I get that the series is meant to be darker but I honestly don't see death to be the main cause of the darkness in this game.

I did say possible spoilers in the Spoiler link because it's just in case they do comfirm that's how the ending would go or something similar. Plus, as much as I want KH3 to have a happy ending, I've lost much hope for that, especially since Nomura mentioned in his earlier interviews that he sees Sora like his own enemy now and that he relates to Xehanort's group more than Sora's group and despite what he said years ago back in 2013-in Polygon interview-that Sora would always be the main protagonist through the entire franchise, he can easily change his mind on that and kill off the main heroes if he hasn't already.

Back in 2009, he mentioned that the team who worked on Advent Children Complete would take a break before making more titles for the FFVII Compilation, yet that was never the truth and he had been completely silent about that up until the beginning of 2017 when he says at the last minute that Crisis Core was the true last title of the Compilation and that they didn't want to make more because of money.

Everything Nomura says is back-to-front and after years of silence and now him making several uncomfortable hints of the gang's future, my guts says that KH3 is more the end of Sora than the end of Xehanort. Same with Kairi, and I also have a feeling that since he was kicked out of the development of FFXV when he was director and that it was supposed to be the darkest Final Fantasy game in history, he's decided to use that deadly darkness for KH3 instead.

Just found out in the latest interview of Nomura that the KH characters' clothes are all or mostly inspired by some of his clothing that he bought himself and worn! And the good news is that KH3 isn't going to be as grim as we thought and it will have funny moments too along the way. That's some relief at least.

Well, not just here, but other Forum places like KH13 website and not to mention forum links on Youtube videos when people talk about KH3 or things related to the upcoming game.

But anyway, wherever Nomura shops for his clothes, at least he has pretty darn good taste.

I've been gradually catching up and watching "Movies" of the KH games and I've watched just about everything:

Chi Back Cover
Birth by Sleep (Blank Points too)
KH1
Fragmentary Passage
Chain of Memories
358/2 Days (though it should be x2 days, not divided)

And I'm still going over KHII right now.

I'm just gonna say this series kinda feels like a really long film-to-game adaptation, and not entirely well-done, in my honest opinion.

I think, thus far, the best part seems to be Fragmentary Passage, mostly because it doesn't TRY to intrude in to other films and make characters fit in.

And while KHII seems to do a much better job of making Sora "fit in" as he jumps from world to world... I think if they used less source material from Disney Films and actually adlibbed more, the experiences would be that much better.

When Walt Disney built Disney Land, his goal was to create an experience where people were "inside the fantasy" and could make their own choices, and while the films certainly set the tone, they shouldn't be the rule standard.

Also, I noted that Sora's facial and movement animations are way too "bouncy" to seem natural. Maybe they were initially going for something that fit a Disney character like Mickey, but the human face doesn't get that animated all the time. I'd get dizzy bobbing my head that much when talking and gesturing.

I get the impression that KHIII will have to become something that surpasses the other games on a fundamental level, not forcing Sora to sub in for other characters, but to be able to be himself in any world he visits.

Apparently there is also going to be an extended/longer trailer dropping on the 18th that will have new footage as well.

Also seeing a lot of people theorizing that one of the split second scenes, show Xion (or a second replica of her) but 'Norted.

Had a feeling Big Hero 6 was up next. And for the Xion scene, it may be a replica of her, or maybe Sora successfully freed Roxas and Xion as well but Xehanort got to her, thus she may be the thirteenth vessel. Hope she gets saved and I still hope for all of my favorites(especially Kairi) to survive.

Still hoping for Agrabah reveal and the return of both Cloud, Tifa, Sephiroth and the Restoration Committee, but that's now to the point where I've given up that hope and I still have a bad feeling Kairi will die and I want her to continue on.

Well, other people in other forums keep on saying Riku's gonna die but they don't seem to care what happens to Kairi. On the other hand, if this is indeed Xion, then I can at least say that I sort of had a feeling her being a vessel would happen. Wish I had been wrong, but I was expecting it. I might still be wrong and whether it may be Sora or a new character that resembles to both, or it could even be Kairi for all we know since she, Xion and Namine share the same faces like Sora, Roxas and Ven do.

Xehanort saga will be over, most OG characters shouldn't return after KH3, next should be a new protagonist and his circle of friend's journey regardless of how dark KH3's ending is.

Well, I disagree about most OG not returning after KH3. I'd like to see the adventures of Sora's group continue. The characters that I seriously don't mind not seeing again post-KH3 are Braig/Xigbar, Xehanort(Obviously because it is the end the Xehanort Saga), and Maleficent(They need a new Disney villian because I'm sick of her regardless how good she is, but come on).

The ones that I want to return are the Destiny Trio(especially them), the Twilight Trio(Lea/Axel, Roxas and Xion), Namine(I like her too, she deserves much better), Isa(don't like his Nobody persona but I liked his teenage persona), the BBS(like Namine, they deserve a break) and of course the famous Disney Trio, and the Final Fantasy group(Cloud, Tifa, and the Restoration Commitee because you can't have Kingdom Hearts without Final Fantasy since KH is a Disney/Final Fantasy crossover from start to finish), and maybe Ienzo because I like him too.

The ones that I half-expecting to return are Marluxia as his original(even his Original's connection in KHUX so he may have a new role in the next Saga and Sora and Ven both know him), Larxene(maaaaaaaybe, not sure), Epmeher(not sure), Skuld(again, not sure), and Brain(I have a suspicious feeling about this guy) and strangely enough, Strelitzia(very likely not, but who knows).

However, there are ones that I'm mostly expecting that won't return, unfortunately are pretty much all of them.

Uncertain but very likely: Sora, Riku, Kairi, Lea, Roxas, Xion, and Namine-and they're all my favorites.

Quite possitive but I may be wrong: Aqua, Terra, Ven and Isa-given their status, I don't see them surviving, unfortunately.

Plus given Nomura's words always being back to front, I think since he's upset that he has to kill off Xehanort in some way, he wants us to forget our favorites as well which, it's understandable, but I was hoping to see my favorite heroes continue on. Regardless, if there is a new protagonist in the next saga, then I'm done with Kingdom Hearts after KH3.

Welp, I finished Dream Drop Distance.

....And now I have Sanctuary stuck in my head like an ear-worm that won't go away!

Couple things I noticed while watching.

The "black outfit" Sora from KHII looks much more mature than "red outfit" Sora that appears throughout most of this story for some reason, I don't know if they recycled his body model from KH1 or what...

I liked "The World Ends with You" crossover, as that was pretty neat, but I don't recall it ending very strongly, so that could have been improved I think.

The jump to Tron 2 also ended on a bitter note too, so I'm not sure I liked how that turned out either.

I still think Xigbar/Braig has a lot to do with the Master of Masters in Back Cover, like he altered the timeline or something (even though they SAY you can't do that in KH3D).

I also still don't get why Sora hasn't gotten to understand Xion and Roxas better, if that's even possible for him... everybody keeps telling him to "ask his heart" but it's like he never does, unless the

Then there's Aqua's armor in the Chamber of Repose... is that supposed to seal up someone else to become a vessel too? I assume that's why Aqua became another Xehanhort in the KH3 trailer. But I don't think that's a guarantee of a loss, mostly because of what Riku went through.

So far, the only characters that have actually fully disappeared (as far as I know) are Roxas and Namine' for obvious reasons.

Still, it makes me wonder what role Terra is going to play in all this? Will he be a Shard of Darkness or a Shard of Light? Will that affect the number of keyblade shards?

Oh, and while I'm at it, I got a question: how much of Final Fantasy XIII-2 was inspired by Kingdom Hearts... cuz I swear Noel Kreiss is an expy of Sora.
