So I'm interested in finding undiscovered turds, the films that are so bad that they're unintentionally good. So far off the top of my head I can think of:

Plan 9 From Outer Space
The Happening
The Wicker Man (Nic Cage version of course)
Alone In The Dark
Showgirls

Now I know wikipedia has a whole article devoted to the worst films ever, but I'm just listing the ones I've seen, and would like my fellow TLSers opinions on the shit they have witnessed firsthand.

Actually I forgot one: Little Man

ugh, I couldn't watch the whole thing because it just made me uncomfortable. The premise is that a dwarf pretends to be a baby in order to steal something or some shit, but its just horrible. Like its full of creepy boob jokes because the stupid 'adults' in the film think he wants feeding when all he wants to do is suck on womens tits. IIRC theres another uncomfortable scene with nappy changins and taking temperature.

My memory isn't what it once was. But I wouldn't count it as laughably bad, just bad bad.

Also, I've never seen it but Mac and Me is meant to be fucking shit. Its basically an ET knockoff full of product placement, mainly for McDonalds (because apparently portion of the profits were going to McDonalds charities)

I've seen Showgirls and I think the story had potential but the acting was bad.

I've also seen Tekken, Your Highness and The Last Airbender among mentioned. I was also disappointed in TLA (even wrote a bad review of it) but I don't think it was as bad as the others, though.

I love stuff such as Plan 9 From Outer Space, Mafia Vs Ninja, Hard Rock Zombies, Robot Monster or whatever. Badly made films I enjoy aren't actual bad moviesd in my eyes. A bad movie is a movie I can't find any enjoyment in watching it.

Edit: Anyone who actually thinks Showgirls is a bad movie possibly doesn't understand it. It's a satirical masterpiece in my eyes. In fact I believe Showgirls' reputation is mostly based on all the negative revies it got the time of it's release - sure the acting is extremely over the top and shit - but isn't satire about exaggerating things? I believe Showgirls is one of the most misunderstood films in the history of cinema.

I honestly thought Showgirls was a softcore porn movie experiment to attract the mainstream audience for its over the top plot and complex characterization with stripping and various other sexual grandeur.

It's actually about the shallowness of glamourism - the characters are devoid of many 'real' human values in favour of fame and glamour - in fact, I find the sex and stripping scenes shot very cold and unerotic - I strongly believe Verhoeven very knew what he was doing.
