Let's All Write A Novella

Would anyone be interested in collectively writing a novella... maybe Case of Cloud, Case of Vincent, or something set before or after Dirge of Cerberus?

Could be written collectively. We decide on a basic structure of the story, then take turns to write a section at a time, letting it grow organically. People can pitch in ideas, and we can make changes as we go.

What would you be interested in writing. I kinda like the idea of exploring Cloud's thoughts, with inner monologues like in Case of Tifa. We could even have 2 different stories being written at the same time

I'll pitch in ideas. We should probably discuss who survives Doc (Genesis or Weiss?) and whether Cloud would meet up with them or not.

I've started an intro for Case of Cloud.

Case of Tifa has a kinda flashback structure, but i think this would work as a linear story, so Ive picked up right from the end of FF7, but we could have flashbacks i guess.

I dunno, let's see how the format goes. I'm not sure how novellas are formed, as I do alot of tl;drs. Let me find my muse then I can really write something good.

I was just checking out the wiki page for the WRO. A novella centred around Reeve would actually be pretty interesting. Exploring the formation of the WRO and his relationship to Shinra, the Turks and Veld.

Okay Pix when do I start this writing?? This is also critically important to my success: Do you have novella samples? I literally am lacking in trying to make it an enjoyable but consistent experience. : x

Well, novellas are usually a bit longer than a short story. I think to write what you're planning would be more substantial than the self contained stories of OTWTAS. Here are a couple of the novellas

I was hoping it would be more of a community type thing. Reading the Turks novel is giving me ideas for little scenes that intersect
