Yeah... she's not lifesized. :monster: She's a foot tall at best, but there's like.. oh I dunno, 500 of her floating around in the world, maybe 1000. 1000 of that music box out there. After that an original Kotobukiya Highwind's expensive but they remade those in 2003 or something so they're exchangable and you don't know the difference. Those paintings are pretty badass, I'd probly be suckered into getting one if I ever came into a large amount of money. I'd never save for one though, especially prints. But those look like original recreated paintings?

I heard of the Yuna. There was a bidder that has a huge FF collection in general.( I'm a FF7 collector so our paths cross afew times) The bidder had a listing for Yunie. I don't think it is that great.....

I like Amano work but I'm not paying $5,000-11,000 for a picture. :monster:

I'm a FFVII and X collector, so I has interests in her. >.>

I also forgot to list my little Moogle "cell phone strap" which I actually put on my DS.

I'd honestly buy most of Amano's work and hang them on my pent house back home. Damn man, I just love his style :monster:

I don't. It's more ridiculous than Nomura's. Belt's and Zippers?

Try twice that, but with beads, randomly placed ponytails, and rainbows of colors thrown all over the place.

And let's not forget all the men he draws must be even more girly than Nomura's and absolutely always have to wear lipstick in the artwork.

Nocturne

Watching Thee From The Moon
AKA
Just Nocturne will do
I forgot to add the FF Trading arts Vol.1 figures to my list so I went back and did. Only Cloud and Sephiroth from FF7 are in the other one along with Lulu, Yuna, Vivi, and Rinoa

You say it as if it was a bad thing :monster:

Amano's art work is Amano's art work. It is different, unique and of course................expenive.

Nocturne

Personally, I never liked his artwork. To me it always seemed like his characters were anorexic, odd looking people. It's just not for me.

Amano's work sees more.. antique to me. Like, in cases of artwork for FF, Amano would be dated some sort of 18th century type.

I don't make sense. :monster:

You do make scene. Amano doesn't use modern styles like Manga/Anime. It does remind me of some earlier art styles in Japan.

Perhaps to make them goth lololol. I like the torn parts of the clothes of various FF characters, but I do agree the beads and ponytails get annoying. lol

I like Amano's art. Some pieces can be hit or miss but a lot of his stuff is amazing. <3

Everyone needs to accept that certain character designers have themes, motifs, and distinguishing characteristics. It's like an artistic fingerprint.

I love Nomura and Amano equally. They both do their jobs extremely well and make memorable looking characters.

Tennyo

Ditto that. Amano and Nomura can't be compared. Amano's art is something i would hang on my wall while Nomura's art is what I would rather much see in a manga. Way totally different, there.

I'm kinda sad I don't have the original FFVII game, me and my bro had my sister's ex-boyfriend's copy at the time and when we returned it, we had to get the "greatest hits" version :'( ...but I'm glad I had the nerve to call the number in the Versus Books marketing dept to get my own guide...after several months after it was released, hahaa.. The poster by Tomotake Kinoshita is gorgeous!
