Funny (not "funny haha," but "funny strange") story, a few months before he died, on that last tour, he was playing at the Adelphia Coliseum* (or whatever they were calling it at that time), and I happened to be put out of my house and sort of wandering the streets, and got to hear them do the ending of Running Down A Dream. That's as close as I'll ever get to hearing Tom Petty live, and yknow what? It was kind of awesome.
