I've analyzed this photo and drawn that conclusion from the following:

• His eyes are really red.
• Only somebody baked would give away a diamond tiara.
• He has many jars that are green, foreshadowing the green within.
• There's a lot of red, yellow and green in this room, which are rasta colors.
• This man is laying on a pillow most of the time you see him, suggesting he is BAKED.

This is conclusive and not up for debate.

I'd have to play the game again to see. Those eyes could've been easily photoshopped. The eyes would be the strongest evidence out of all your arguments, but still doesn't prove anything.

I know from playing the game myself that the eye colors can be weird but I have only noticed this on an emulator.

When I view the PC field models via Makou Reactor, the odd appearance of red is not present. Either this is a problem exclusive to the PSX version or it's just that the emulator can't properly display all textures.

yah but it's not just Tifa with strange-colored eyes - doesn't Vincent have red or orange eyes - or not visible... I forget. In ACC they're orange or yellowish. And in ACC, I think Marlene has purple/lavender eyes...

Funny thing, in lotsa fanfiction I read Tifa has "wine-colored" or "the color of red wine" or "like Merlot" to make it sound less weird and more attractive
