Why have you never played Catan?
I'm not sure.
Always got wrapped up in other things, I guess.
If you're having a terrible day or just generally feeling down, what small things make you happy?
Stand-up comedy on Netflix, kosher dill pickles (
) and beginning my drive home after work.

Other way around: You're having a stellar day, what little things are sure to make you grumpy/agitated?
Forgetting to bring my phone charger to work, cold air, people on the Interstate who feel it necessary to flip you off as they go around you despite the fact that you were already going over the speed limit.
What's your favourite ice cream kind/flavour?
Probably chocolate chip cookie dough in vanilla ice cream.

Where does this baby making fetish come from? (Or is it just a thing with no explanation?)
Just a thing as far as I know. Some folks strive to keep the population from increasing. I, on the other hand, am a breeder.

If I came round your endz (that's Joe speak for your hood
) for a holiday of exploration & fun having, what would we get up to & why? (No bloody films allowed, I can see them anywhere!)
Well, there's a lot of good places to eat I know of that I would have to take you to -- Lancaster's BBQ (for the BBQ and Redneck Fries, which are fries smothered in BBQ and hot cheese), Duckworth's Tap House (amazing ribs), Catfish Cove (best hot wings I've had anywhere between here and Toronto), Brickhouse Tavern (for all kinds of good stuff, including lamb).
There are probably others I haven't thought of at the moment.
On Sunday morning, we could get up early and you could go with me to the 9:45 discussion group at my Unitarian Universalist church, then the hour-long service at 11:00. We could stick around after for some snacks and conversation, then go get some sub sandwiches or something and go to this really nice park I know.
There's also a go-kart and laser tag place right across the highway from my apartment, and an amusement park (Carowinds) less than an hour away.
Depending on what was going on, we might even be able to catch an aerial silks show somewhere.
And, of course, there's always bowling and billiards.
Oh, and I know of some cool used book stores too.

When, why, what the..? huh and eh? you were married?! How old were you? What made you go for the big commit & would you get married again?
I had just turned 25, I'm a fool for love (not saying I regret doing it even a little bit, though) and I'm sure I'll do it again. I'm not presently in any hurry, mind you, but I know I will do it again.

Have we done the TLS sexy questions yet?
What RP fantasy would you get what TLSer 3/4/more-some combo to do?
It would consist of myself, yourself, Fangu, Tenny, Mage and Carlie. No offense intended to any of TLS's other beautiful ladies (seriously, I want you all) but you guys are my top five.
As for the RP ... I guess one of you's the nun; one of you is the naughty schoolgirl; one is the escort; one is the Hispanic maid who speaks broken English, so she mostly speaks Spanish (sorry, Carlie, you're really the only one who can field this); and one of you is the horny stranger at the laundromat where, for some reason, we all end up.
Cab said:
Do you have any pets? Details pls.
If not, why not?
If you want, what do you want?
None right now, sad to say. We don't have a lot of space in our apartment and the (non-refundable) pet deposit is ridiculous anyway.
I wants all kinds of critters, but a Corgi most of all.

Do you miss your manwhoring days? (iirc you mentioned being in a closed relationship with your other half now)
We're not closed per se, but I just haven't done much in a while. I do miss it sometimes (usually when I wake up each day, 'cause I'm horny as hell when I wake up
), but I'm also getting a little older (i.e. lazy), we work out a few nights a week, and I'm a lot less desperate/less willing to put up with bullshit/my gf and my best friend have done weird things to me (like seriously, I have passed up a couple sexy time opportunities just to spend time with one of them).

What qualities does your partner see in you?
She says I'm loyal, funny, compassionate, open-minded and hardworking.
Cab said:
What does your partner think of your FF loves n past theories? Or is it not much discussed?
It doesn't come up much. If it does, mostly she just makes some joke about how far my nerd muscle stretches.
Cab said:
Does your partner go on here much/at all or do you keep that more separate?
She has an account that she only uses if I link her to something I want her to read or think she would find interesting. She's a tumblr gal.
We do share quite a lot with each other from our respective nerd havens, though.

I get the respect for firefighters thing, but honestly, does it not strike fear into your heart to put your life in risk like that? How do you overcome the natural urge to run away from fire?
It really doesn't, no. For me, it's almost like an alpha wave headspace.
I think half of us are wired to flee and the other half are wired to deal with what the first half is fleeing from. Sort of nature looking after itself.
Wolf packs have been observed exhibiting similar behavior when hunted. While about half run, the other half tries to cover their escape.
All this isn't to say I don't respect the danger of fire. I'm well aware of its destructive and deadly potential. It doubles in size every twenty seconds, and the temperature inside a structure that has reached the free burn stage of a fully developed fire can rise to more than 1,300 degrees Fahrenheit/700 Celsius. Without the right equipment, this heat can sear the lungs and overcome a person in seconds.
As cool as it is in movies and shit when someone runs into a burning building or a fight goes on in one, it's terribly unrealistic. Even if the smoke didn't do them in, the heat and air pressure would. If you've ever been hit in the face by the hot air coming out of an oven set to 450 degrees Fahrenheit, you know how overpowering that can be. Our biology simply isn't equipped to handle standing in a room with heat two to three times that intense.

In Britain there is an issue over retirement ages of firefighters (iirc it was 55 & the government wants to put it up to 60 - I'd have to check those number though, it could be 60-65). The argument being that a retirement age should be same for all & firefighters can do other jobs not just the physically demanding stuff. On the other side the argument is that the job is a hell of a lot more demanding on your body & so life expectancy can be shortened due to smoke inhalation, heavy lifting etc & that asking a person to lay their life on the line to save yours should really have the perk of an early retirement, to say the very least!
Where do you stand on this issue? What's your opinion?
& Is this an issue in America?
Retirement age for firefighters here depends on who is cutting the check. Different municipalities have different requirements -- some allow you to retire at any age after putting in the requisite years of service (I've seen this number be anything from 20 to 22 to 25 to 27 to 30 years), while others have a specific retirement age (provided a certain number of years of service have been met by then).
Where the requirements are lower, these firefighters often continue working well past retirement eligibility to increase their pension for when they do retire. Unlike those in private sector careers, firefighters don't receive Social Security benefits, so they'll be living entirely off their pension once they retire.

Can you please record an excerpt of you speaking as I would love to hear your accent? Pretty please?
Nooooope.
Let me know if that link doesn't work for some reason. I've had problems with it.

If you wanted to go out to nature & enjoy it, where would you go n what would you do? mountains? beach? hug a tree?
Well, there's that park I mentioned earlier. It has a lot to offer. There's a large open space in addition to trails through the woods.
Also, I prefer mountains to beaches.

Do you notice nails on a woman? What do you find sexy in a nail? (long n sharp? Squared off? manicured? nail polished? French manicure? short n functional? bitten down to just skin at the tips?)
I definitely notice nails. I think long and sharp with bright polishes have the sexiest look over all, but short and functional with polish looks good too, and is more practical.
Cab said:
Would you/have you ever worn make up? (not the full enchilada, like some mascara to sharpen up your lashes or summit like that)
I have not. Doesn't strike me as something I would do.
I did let my ex-wife's little sister paint my nails (fingers and toes) black one time, though.

I try, but they're slippery little devils.
No, I don't. I've needed forgiveness for far too much myself.

What makes you angry? How do you act upon your anger?
Several things make me angry. Cruelty and selfishness and bigotry and indifference.
There's usually not a lot I can do with anger about those things if it's not happening right in front of me, though, in which case I would attempt to reason with whoever the person was. I suppose it has prompted me to write articles many times.
I guess you could say unfairness in general makes me angry -- big or small, national, international or fairly personal. Depending on the situation, I may be able to do something, but it's just as likely I cannot.
Whatever the case, I'm fairly subdued in general and not one to shout or break stuff even when angry. My girlfriend commented the other day that she's never seen me angry. I told her she has, but that I guess I didn't make it too obvious.
Rare are the occasions another person has seen me obviously angry. I'm told that it's actually pretty frightening. Unsure whether I should be proud of that.
I do like my voice when I'm angry, though. I actually sound like a man and stuff for once.

If you had to organise a TLS convention that was merely a pre-text for us all to meet up & steal Yopy's beer, where would you put it on & what entertainments would you put on & how would you deal with any dramahz that ensued?
With this bunch? The pre-text would have to be live TLS n00dz.
That'd be sure to get everyone on board, even if they knew it was all about Yopity's beer. More importantly, it would get him to quickly agree to host the event at his place, which would make the stealing of his beer quite simple once the entertainment arrived. By which I mean you'd have to take one for the team and give Yop a strip show to keep him distracted while some of us looted his fridge.
Not me, though. I'd stick around for the show. Hey, I put this plan together. I get to have this. =P

What's a gorgeous physical feature of you?
My eyes.
You. Me. Place within reasonable driving distance. I will teach you the game. And several others.
Oh, I know how to play that one (though it has been at least a couple of years and a refresher course wouldn't hurt). I was just sad when they stopped making new stuff. Do you have many of the sets?
Also, tell me what other games.
The only question that came to mind (that wasn't asked already): how would you do me? You know, roughly, romantically, sensually...from behind, face to face...whips, chains, blindfolds...and where? Details, man, details!
Must I only pick one?
Totally picking "all available" if it's an option. =P
I guess if I had to pick just one of each sort: rough, face to face (I like kissing
a lot, and looking into a woman's eyes while fucking her), and chains.
Also, is the "where" the location of our fuckage or which of your orifices?
'Cause you know I'm going for the pussy. =P
I think it's fair to say that 'unsheathed' would be a primary factor in that answer.
This woman knows me. <3
