Messages in the mako tanks (International Version)

I was looking up some items on the item list at the FFwiki, and I discovered two interesting little pieces. I can't provide the links yet, but I can tell you where to find them.

Go to the Final Fantasy wiki and search for List of Final Fantasy VII items. The images both say "scratched message written by Zack - Shinra mansion."

The first image I'm going to call Cloud's message, and the second Zack's (as I think they're written by each of them. The second one I know is Zack's handwriting).

I was puzzling out how to read and translate them, and I only got so far. Cloud's message I managed to understand.

Koko kara nigeyou
either "From here, we run" or, as Google Translate gives it, "Get away from here"

Zack's however is giving me a lot of grief. For one, I can't read what's going on in the top left corner, and I'm only partially certain of what the rest says:

時間で
チャンスだ
Jikan de
CHANSU da

I know jikan is time, and I'm pretty sure "CHANSU da" would be "now's our chance," but I don't quite know how to put it all together.

Anyone out there able to read the messages and help me out/correct me on this? It'd be much much appreciated. :3

I think the first one is 'escape from here' and the second is 'when the time comes, we take our chance.'

Zack's does have a little more to it than what I wrote, I just can't make out what it says. Were you able to find the pictures?

I remember "Lets get out of here" and "nows our chance" from the version I had.....and something about "feeding time" ?

Sorry, I should have read your post properly (Im on NO SLEEP ) I didnt realise you were talking about the hidden items on the international version. I was just talking about what I experienced when I played (UK version)

I honestly can't remember if 'feeding time' (or words to that effect) was written on the tanks or that it was part of the dialogue in the flashback with Zack and Clouds escape.

Basically just ignore what I said, someone who knows what they're talking about will be along soon

You can get these two messages in the library, first room, around the broken glass tubes (lower right hand corner of room.) Basically, it's as you said; 'feeding time' means when they get their next meal, they will execute their escape.

Unfortunately I don't have a copy of the international version which is why I'm asking here if anyone else can read these messages more clearly than I can. I don't know how many more posts I have until I can post a picture, however.

Thank you, Shademp, that really, really helps.

The "esa no" part is what I couldn't read on Zack's image, and it certainly clarifies things. I ran what you gave me through a translator and aside from the middle parts, it makes sense. What's also interesting is that it gives designations for what Cloud and Zack were termed since they weren't given numbers. Sample A (Code Z) is Zack's and Sample B (Code C) is Cloud's.

...Of course I could just be slow and this is actually in the English game. I honestly haven't gotten past disc one yet (though I know the entire game's story through a lot of research), so... Ahahahaha... ^^;;

See now I thought Cloud's handwriting was much neater than Zack's, especially given that I could read it at first glance. Zack's just looks like chocobo-scratch, especially with how he writes at an angle (which is visible on his letter to home in the international version).
