Brittany Ishibashi is playing Karai. Looks like they got a Japanese person for the role of a Japanese person, so props for that at least.

Reminder that this is still very much a thing. Some parts of it certainly look less terrible than the previous one, but that's about all I can say. It's still VERY Michael Bay, but I'm a big fan of Shredder, and kinda not big on the Nutty-Professor-style Baxter Stockman, but Bebop & Rocksteady look a lot better than the Turtles do visually speaking.

Oh, and Arrow, Megan Fox, and Will Arnett are still in it as themselves.

REALLY confused on the name, since that's what the TMNT Videogame from 2013 was called (which had vastly superior Ninja Turtle designs).

I've never walked out of a movie before, but I came close with this one. The writing is terrible. It wouldnt even take much to rewrite parts and iron that shit out. Stick with the 2012 series. It has way more stubstance, even though there are things I would change about it.

But Casey Jones is going to be a detective.

CIA (?) Agent - "Why would I listen to you, when you're the one who let him get away?" Walks away. (summary)
Casey Jones - "I'm going to be a detective!" (actual response)
CIA (?) Agent - "What? The fuck do I care what your dream job is, person I met literally 10 seconds ago?" (appropriate response thats not in the movie)

Also, when the 4yr old child you brought to a 10pm show of a movie, literally starts crying and saying "Daddy, I wanna go to bed!", you leave, not hunker down to watch the rest of the crappy movie.

Also, enjoyed Bebop and Rocksteady. The actors were clearly having fun, both live action and in the recording both. The animators also brought that out well after they got mutated. Their jokes don't always work (hey, fart jokes. Woo.), but the movie gets better whenever they're on screen.
