I guess what I wanted to figure out at first is if there is a relation in attitude between "what we know of Jenova" and "what we know of the entity that produces life on earth". I think I got my answer. In that you really helped.
The equation I propose should be
Lifestream = Life - Earth

she is every unnatural thing human beings unleash on the long-suffering planet through their own greed and selfish curiosity.

That makes sense now !
The lifestream is a deadly alien that travels from planet to planet.
