First of all, sorry, my English is terrible... But I'll try to elaborate. My source comes from the twitter account of a French website (FF world) which is a real reference in France. They never give rumors, always verified information, at no time I have any doubts about their sources. Concerning Uematsu's involvement, I have no information, so I will speak on a personal basis. Uematsu has never orchestrated any songs, he has some gaps in musical theory and admits it himself (which doesn't take away from his great qualities as a melodist) so I don't think he is actively involved in this remake, maybe as a supervisor or consultant. Anyway I consider that he has already done his part of the work by composing the originals tracks. The vinyl will be released tomorrow in Japan, I think we'll have more details very soon.

It looks like it may have been originally sourced from the vinyl as tiburce suggests - Vgmdb has the details here, but I can't seem to find any hard confirmation.
