Ridley Scott returns to direct Alien: Covenant, the next installment in the #Alien franchise. In theaters 10/6/17.

Apparently that's the "Prometheus" sequel, and the name has just been changed from "Paradise Lost":

I hope that you won't need to. It would be a real shame if it became 'necessary reading' for further installments of the Alien franchise. I was looking forward to putting it in a box with Alien Resurrection as "less canon than AVP"
