I think he was in front of the 7th Heaven, so I kind of took at as he was feeling smug about knowing where Cloud lives and who the members of his family are? Basically being all stalker-ish, cause yeah Denzel was standing there, and if there was a woman she was probably just a random passerby. lol

Not to sound prudish or anything but I really don't see the SHM as really having thoughts like that, actually. They are basically children, and they are driven by the will of someone other than themselves. Normal human thoughts, emotions, and feelings probably don't have a place in their brains. Sephiroth wants them to find Jenova's head and so that's all they can think of; nothing else.

At least that's what I've always thought.

I think it's been explained in one of the many detailed books such as Reunion Files or one of the Ultimanias for FFVII that the SHM are separate from Sephiroth, with their own personalities and thoughts, but still driven to some degree by his will to find Jenova. I do recall coming across information that this is why the SHM cannot recall (everything about?) Sephiroth or his past. Of course, this is my take on the information and I could be leaving something out...

You really can't call the remnants of Sephiroth men. they probably only have a masculine, male appearance because Sephiroth himself is male. They could be females and their role and actions would be no different. They have no thoughts for human actions such as sexy or flirtation. They just want Jenova so they can fulfill their need to be one.

I mean if Yazoo literally took the time, in the middle of trying to find Jenova, to flirt with someone. I'm sure his head would hurt and he'd feel the need to get back to work. He's not human.

And you guys knew I was just kidding right? I just always found that part of the trailer amusing because it does look like he's smiling at the girl.

But now you got me wondering if Sephiroth has these thoughts.
