New DragonballZ movie for 2013

I liked not having the filler there, since most of said filler was crap. Have to get the uncut dvds if you want to watch Kai though. The edits they made for the tv broadcast butcher it.

Only real problem with Kai is the lack of Bruse Faulconer music. And the fact that it doesn't (yet) include the Buu saga.

I was also okay without the filler, even though I have the series with it on DVD. I'm fine either way in regards to it. But I do agree on Kai lacking Faulconer's score. I also liked the new score. It's just a shame that Kenji Yamamoto infringed on other people's work and everything was replaced with the original score. Still, though, I can't wait for the Buu Saga. If Funimation dubs it, I'll have to see it uncut.

Looks good. Seems like Goku's gonna go off the overpowered deep end, which if is fine by me as long as its handled well. We shall see.

Now heres a quesiton about this Super Saiyan God thing. Do you suppose that Toriyama is using this a replacement for Super Saiyan 4, or do you think it'll be a temporary thing like Gohan's power up from the Elder Kai seems to have been?

Most importantly of all, how will this affect the calculations used in the Goku vs. Superman Death Battle?

I assume it wouldn't. Death Battle took Super Saiyan 4 into account after all. Thats 10X stronger than Super Saiyan 3.

While this SUper Saiyan God thing wil certainly be very powerful, I doubt it'll be more than Super Saiyan 4.

EDIT: Looking at the screenshots it appears that Bills is actually spanking Gotenks into submision. The movie should be worth watching just for that scene.

Bills is the best Dragonball Z villain ever. I love that crazy cat.

Holy shit though, the way he just ruined all the heroes like that was painful. The fact Gohan just got owned after daring to try and grapple him was sick. Nevermind Piccolo getting KO'd by chopsticks. LOL

Also, I'm pretty sure V-Jump (the Shuiesha published magazine that publishes Dragonball Z news and shit) stated that the Super Saiyan God level is the strongest possible form of a Super Saiyan ever.

So who knows, maybe Goku will get another shot at Superman after all!

But yeah, definetely gotta agree. What gets me more than Picollo being KO'd with chopsticks is that Bills could take out Buu just by kinda pushing a hand in his general direction. He at least had to hit the likes of Gohan with an actual kick. Or strike Goku, albiet with less force than he did Gohan. But with Buu? He just force pushed that guy right out of the fight.

Seriosuly, look at Buu when Bills pulls him from the lake. He wasn't moving. Bills was pretty much just attacking Buu at that point to be a dick.

Head rumors that both Toriyama and Toei want to add more to DBZ past this. Not sure if its true. If it is though, lets have Toriyama have full control of the story. Last time somebody gave Toei the helm this shit happened.

I'm interested in this. I've been out of touch with DBZ for a long time; I've not seen all the episodes but I have fond memories of watching growing up. It looks pretty damn good and with Toriyama involved it is bound to be even better. So long as it's not 4 hours of powering up, I'm happy :p

I just saw it for the first time with eng dub in the theatre.

Wow. I'm shocked at how good this was. It's one of the best DBZ things put out, and the way they were able to have nods to most things in the dbz universe were surprisingly well implemented.

If they actually wanna make more, if they're like this, I say fuck yeah. It was also my first time seeing anime on the big screen (I don't count Ghibli as "anime") and it was awesome. I even got a free ticket cause the woman in front of me in the line gave me her husbands ticket because he was unable to make it.

Im probly going to go back on sat to see it again, it was an awesome experience.
