I dunno, I'm not really expecing much. It's FFXIII. It took them three years to ready FFXII. And that was just one game..This is some big ass collection.

My guess goes to 'not'. I have never seen a trailer for the first time directly from Square. By the time they finally release one I've seen it several times. Which again begs the question to why they won't just RELEASE THEM TO BEGIN WITH! *grumble*

Well, they pretty much just gave us screenshots of Sahz and no new info on him, a countdown for a trailer on wednesday, and a message from one of the FFXIII people telling them how great FFXIII is going to be. So otherwise it was a useless countdown.

Trailers up, the US site isn't working for me at the moment, but a trailer (I assume the same) is also on the japanese site, http://www.square-enix.co.jp/fabula/ff13/
Although even THAT doesn't seem to be loading well, their sites seem overloaded...
EDIT: AWESOME!!! Even the few scenes we've already seen look significantly better, what do you suppose that blue thing she activates is?
Also, people bitching about no gameplay cna finally shut up! I still have no idea how they're controlling it but the combat looks freaking awesome. Man I can't wait.
Sure sucks that I have to wait over a YEAR to play it so they can localize and port the damn thing. (Looking forward to the demo though

And the blue thing, isn't that her anti-gravity device she can activate with her fingers? But from the looks of it, it can be electrify as well.
It's kinda weird when everything looks different from what I imagined. But I think this is gonna be good.

I finally got the US site to load, its subtitled there.
The combat does appear to be at least partially turn-based. The characters seem to have time-bars filling on the bottom right (albeit very quickly). Almost looks like a Xenosaga/FFX-2 hybrid.
I see Fight, Launch (as in...launch enemies into the air?), Fire, Firaga, and Cure commands for Lightning. Snow has the same but with Blizzard and Blizzaga I believe.
