They will never get those events correct. I cannot stand the stupidness of Zack fighting an army.

Really, in-game logic explains it easily. Limit Breaks are a real thing in the fictional world of FFVII, and they're similar to Trance from FFIX -- which takes place on another world with a Lifestream.

Trance is caused by a surge in emotion. Really, it's easily explained. :monster:

You definitely have a point there, but as far as I remember, it was in no way shown that Cloud really had a limit break. And eventhough he would've had one, how much of use this would have been? The concept is clear - that's where Cloud got his power from, though it seems to . But why in the hell is Sephiroth's arm clued to that damned Masamune? After being ambushed already by Cloud, I really doubt he would make such an unnecessary mistake again. Yeah he may have been in weakened state, but even Sephiroth tripping over on a stone and falling to his own doom would've been more logical.

okay i edited and continued that mistake in the middle of my answer three times, everytime i got logged out so it's time to fuck it. I will not go on to rant about the obvious flaws or instances when the limit break should've appeared, but never came. What are the limits to the limit break anyway

I never had a problem with Zack's death scene, or the gauntlet of "you cannot win" soldiers you have to fight beforehand.

Yeah, I thought it was great. Those instances where the story is told through gameplay are too few in Final Fantasy, to be honest. Zack's final stand is one of the only things Crisis Core got right

Yeah, Zack's a first class SOLDIER who managed to take down a fucking goddess. Losing to a fuckton of Shinra SOLDIERS is way moar realistic than losing to three IMO.

For that matter, the original game's presentation of that scene always implied there were more than just the three guys anyway. When Zack runs off the screen, sounds of battle can be heard while he's gone.
