Sooooo, is anybody playing this? I didn't find a thread for this but if there is one then please go ahead and merge.

This is that game that is Sony's equivalent to Super Smash Bros. It's surprisingly good but shouldn't be compared to the Nintendo hit. There's something strangely satisfying about beating Krato (GoW) with Parappa The Rapper. Either that or an intense fight between Nathan Drake and a Big Daddy.

Anyway. I want to play with some people because I'm finding this really enjoyable. Any questions?

It was released last week (afaik) so you'll be paying whatever you usually pay for a full-priced new release. Mine cost me $49.99 (Canadian.)

I played the beta, it was.... eh. I constantly lost track of who I was and what was going on, something that didnt happen in smash bros. I blame the realistic proportions of most of the char.
It was just... eh. I find the whole kill by special attack dumb. Hell, pa rappa doesnt even have to fight to win a game. Just stay away from people and throw down the boom box.
Plus come on, you put in 2 versions of cole, but not crash bandicoot?
I just got zero interest in this game.

My boyfriend and I just picked this up over the weekend and spent several hours on it. I'm surprised how much I enjoy it. I so badly want to claim Dante as my main but I'm just no good with him. Ended up learning Sackboy and I can dominate with him


btw Sir Daniel is OP as fuck. There's a lot of talk around the message boards that he actually needs to be buffed, but I can't buy any of the boohooing around him. I find his finishing moves incredibly easy to land and his AP fills soooo fast. Also, most annoying move goes to Nathan Drake for that FUCKING barrel he throws. No matter the person who plays him/what setting the AI is on, the whole match with him is 70% barrel spam
