Ian Curtis killed himself shortly after this album was recorded. This probably will not surprise anyone who listens to it.

There are a large number of other songs I could and probably should list, but I don't think anything quite approaches the level of bleakness of this album.

There's a big story to this entire CD, but basically they are in love, she was kidnapped, he went after her, and now they are trapped by the river. This is the last song.

Actually, I'm just going to post Decemberists because fjkhfdjk so many sad.

Baby Mine from Dumbo. After a young kid was teasing Dumbo for his large ears, Dumbo's mum got furious because her baby was being harmed, however the circus blamed Dumbo's mum for the incident, and put her into a cage where she can only just reach her son with her elephant trunk. >:
