Holy fuck, this game is great.

So, first off, even though the people are slightly more cartoony than in TP, they're odes more expressive. Every character, even minor NPCs, has had fluid expression, not just popping between them when you pop new dialogue up.

Swordplay is still not a perfet 1-1, but given how complex it is even without that, I'm calling this a win for input/ output matching.

Naturally, the game it chock full of in jokes, from Geabora Kaepora to this being the 25th anniversary of the School link attend's founding.

Ok so Zelda says we should test to see if my Loftwing is ok, shes telling me how to gain speed by tilting the wiimote up and down to go into a dive etc etc......and then I start to lose altitude...She's starts telling me how to gain speed by doing a nosedive, and by this time I'm basically in the clouds and I can't see what the fuck I am doing. I ended up having to look in the manual to figure out I could actually flap. I don't consider myself a particularly stupid person but really, that part could have been better explained in-game. I thought my wiimote was broken

Oh and that first fight with Ghirahim is a bastard. It's not even a learning curve, its a learning right angle. I hate him, he is creepy and I can almost hear the rapefics being typed as I play

It's been a while since I died in a Zelda game. xD
I forgot about the pots that give you hearts though.

Yeah, he got me too, after I had exhausted all the pots and a fairy...the cunt.

Also, anyone know what the deal is with the Headmasters cat thing? At night it goes crazy and attacks me, and there seems to be lots of them too. Don't know where they are in the day.

Also, did anyone else waste loads of time trying to throw a pot at Beedles bell? It was that punk kid making me think I could do it......maybe it is possible but I just gave up.

And about the bug net, I'm a little dissapointed in it...It doesnt seem to work the way I'd want it to, like in the old games where you'd do a fast swipe. Here it just seems to be touch the butterfly and its caught? :/

Yeah, I spent some time tossing pots at Beedle's bell before I realized the arc it showed was a lie. Then I got the slingshot and bing bing.

Spent most of my cash on the Net and the ability to have 300 more rupees.

Gonna play some more once I finished re-watching Kentucky Fried movie, which I got in the mail today.

While the Iron sheild is a welcome upgrade, I do wish for one unlimited HP.

Also, Ghiripoo wasn't that hard for me. Most of the hits I took were accidentally hitting his sword when he was in guard stance. His rushing tech was really easy to counter. At the end, I was just backing up til he rushed me, then going crazy.

skydive with the flying squirrels above the lumpy pumpkin pub? I did, and it was a bugger to get all of us holding hands but I managed it and got 20 rupees...which I am a little dissapointed in given how hard I found it. I was just wondering if you could get more rupees than that if you did it faster or something? Anyone know?

So, I'm glad I got the gratitude and purchasable wallet upgrades when I did, because once I got the moleclaws, I was racking up cash like mad. I went from 60 rupees to 600.

Now I just need materials to upgrade my swag with.

I got the wallet upgrades now, I *think* I can hold 1000 rupees atm. The problem is though, and I don't know if you guys agree, when you get items that cant fit in the pouch they go to the item check. It doesn't do something similar for rupees found in chests though. I missed out on 300 rupees because I didn't have any room. I should have been able to just close the chest again y'know?

God, its been so long since I played Twilight Princess I forgot there was an option to close chests then. Stupid innit? Sounds like a step backward there, I was only opening chests because I wanted one more piece of heart.

Also, I'm up to the Lanaryu Mining Faclility. Does anyone know of a good place to get fairies? As yet I haven't come across any fairy fountains.

That was the best Zelda game EVER....imo lol. Everything ties together so nicely toward the end.

I want to play Ocarina again now

Because Skyward Sword exists before chest-reclosing technology. Duh.

Also, I am replaying Ocarina (Well, master quest) while I do skyward. The obvious parallels are split between it and and TP, thus far.

I just...Link is so freakin' adorable in this, I have no words. That whole moment after defeating Scaldera was just so...so...

Also, new temple of loathing: The Temple of Time. I don't think I've sworn more at my TV screen before, besides the Water Temple from OoT. I also don't think I've died in a Zelda game as much as I died there. I really hate Beamos, I really, really do

About 38 hours in and still not finished. I love it.

THERE'S SO MUCH STUFF TO DO.

I felt TP didn't have all that many sidequests but this one is keeping me quite busy.

Finished the 6th dungeon and got the True Master Sword with the awesome lawnmowing sword beam <3
I also did the Boss Rush at the Thunder Dragon's place and got the Hylian shield.

Still missing 3 heart containers but I finished all other sidequests before completing the game.

So Ghirahim is basically an Evil Master Sword in his true form. And Ganon is just the shadow of a more powerful ancient demon king. Interesting. xP

Anyway, I think this might be the best Zelda so far, and certainly the most emotionally involving. The last one to tug at the old heart strings was Links Awakening, but maybe thats because I was 11.
