Depending on how it's designed, I think that this is a much more interesting concept as a series. Despite being not very on board (lol) for a lot of things about the film, I'd give this a chance.

I think I was on to something regarding the purposeful inconsistencies with the train structure (though I gave it more credit than it was due) but I just can't agree with myself regarding the nihilistic shit at the end of the film lol. I was definitely reading way to into it and bordering on edge there.
Funny how shit changes. Rereading this thread was a real treat lol.
I thought it worked as a film because it was totally gripping all the way through.
And at the end, you get to understand the beauty of the world, and then you die.
At least I haven't forgotten it the way I forget most films I watch.
I mean OK sure I'll probably watch it, but yeah, how long are they going to drag the plot out for? I mean I'd be down for a post-train survival continuation story/ season, but if the snowpiercer is gone it can't really be called that can it?
