There's rumours going about now that they're considering remaking FFV and VI for the 3DS. Which is stupid, as I don't plan to get a 3DS while I've got a perfectly decently working DS Lite.

Which is hilarious because they said they couldn't remake them on the DS because of "technical issues".

The 3DS does look to be a worthy successor of the DS, so I don't mind dropping the cash for it. If its specifications, abilities, and all are to believed that is.
If these remakes of FFV and FFVI fully utilize the specs of the handheld, then holy shit. It might be worth it.
