So I am running around in the sewers looking for Corneo's hidey hole when Leslie is hit by a monster and drops the alleged key to a door. Up until this point, I have killed everything in my path and looked for all Shinra boxes, chests, and monsters. I round the corner where three Sahagin lie in wait and proceed to kill them. At the same time I am killing the last Sahagin, it turns Cloud into a a toad.
- Can't use Esuna
- Can't use Maiden's Kiss
- Can't interact with any interactable objects (like the bench all the way back where the vending machine is located at)
There is a ladder at the end of that section that you are supposed to climb but can't interact with as a toad. There weren't any more fights to get into in the area since I had cleared out all the monsters. Unless I am mistaken and missed some ability/capability, this was a softlock. I reloaded from a prior manual save (thankfully at the door where Leslie looses the key since I suspected something crazy to happen).
Anyone else experience softlocks like this?
