Downloading this now as I post. PM me if you have BitTorrent and want a link. It's pretty much all over the net now. Will post some thoughts later. I'm not surprised it's leaked, I think it was around this time last year that the pilot of The Flash leaked as well.

I liked it. Like, really liked it.
It's got the same tone as The Flash and the special effects are pretty decent. I like the backstory as well, as I was quite confused how she could be younger than Superman (who's never referred to by that name, he's just referred to as "him" or the "cousin"), but obviously they'd go down the road of having her trapped in the Phantom Zone.
The pilot was obviously focused towards bringing Supergirl to life and while it'll unfold over the season, I liked the focus between Kara and her sister. There were a few humorous moments, too. I'm not entirely sure if I like Winn (delivering the worst one-liner ever) crushing on her just yet. The guy who plays Jimmy Olsen seems decent enough. Cat Grant's actress is all right, although I'd rather see more of her to make a full judgement. I also like her sister and her involvement in the underground organisation was a nice twist, even if it was slightly predictable.
It's also nice to see they haven't revealed all her powers just yet, but the important ones. There's only super strength, flight, super hearing and heat vision. I'd very much like to see more flashbacks to her time with the parents her cousin put her with, although I know I've only just got past the pilot and will most likely get my wish over the season.
The last scene of the episode had me the most intrigued, though. So Kara's aunt is going to kill her and said she "escaped with her cousin". At first, I thought it might have been Superman's mother, but immediately took it back when she said that.
Her character was pretty infectious and whether you liked the trailer or not, I'd check out the pilot if you can.

I rewatched the pilot since it finally premiered this week, still liking it.
Generally wondering how the season's going to pass out, but Melissa is practically the main attractive feature for me right now with her adorkableness. I like how it doesn't directly allude to Man of Steel or any other Superman films/TV shows (besides that plane reference) and hoping it stays that way.

Yeah, I'm still watching it. I'm an episode behind, obviously due to the fact the latest one aired last night. I agree about the villains, but there's just something about Maxwell Lord that I like and I can't put my finger on it. 
Cat's also a major highlight. I'd just watch if she even had her own show. <3

We already know it's been renewed, but looks like it's headed for The CW!
This will pave the way for more crossovers, methinks. Besides, I'm sure it fits much better because of Arrow and The Flash. CBS kept screwing up with the scheduling, it felt like it was on every two to three weeks at times.

Precisely. It still baffles me.
I doubt that this will now be classified as the same Earth as the other shows, but the stronger possibilities of even more crossovers is good enough for me.

Tyler Hoechlin also wants to explore Clark Kent's sense of humour.
I've seen him in Teen Wolf and he's got some decent acting chops, so it'll be odd to see him in some comedic moments.
