Ico said that this trailer is about 1 and 1/2 years old, so no that's not how the final product will look - though, it still looks great. Can't wait.

OMG, YES, finally a trailer!

But yeah, I wonder how different the final game is going to look - Ico and SotC (though Ico moreso) ended up looking pretty different than the preliminary footage.

Using a large-ish inbred colossus as a major gameplay / climbing element looks interesting though - gotta give 'em credit for originality.

Although I'd prefer a more epic SotC.

True, but that's not new - at least in SotC, the kid wasn't really that interesting of a character for the majority of the game. Note that I also didn't like the fact that they only started to add a story at the very end of the game.

Isn't there supposed to be a plot that intertwines them all together or some shit.
Some random fag stated that Sotc was supposed to be the original and the kid that is seen at the end is Ico and so on and so forth.

All in all the plotline was never the strongpoint of the game.

bah i played Sotc before i played eco and it just midfucked me trying to understand any vague plotline.
All i thought was baby = Ico, ghost chick = dead guys wife etc etc etc

It's not an actual trailer, nor is this an announcement of the game. Word is that this is test footage that had been shown internally within Sony more than a year ago.

It's not something very apparent in the game, really . It's only semi-officially been told in some interview or something later on.
