Technology Section?

How would you guys feel about creating a section within GD dedicated to technology? I follow several tech websites, and I've realized there isn't a place for me to share that information here. Unless what I find is some sort of major innovation, it usually get looked over in the News section. I also find that most of the tech threads that pop up receive little activity because people don't undertand the material being discussed. But, I think that's because there isn't a consistent flow of information here when it comes to that sort of thing. And, I think a new section can remedy that. Thoughts?

Yeah I think its a good idea, I mean I'm thick as pig shit when it comes to tech stuff and I usually need someone else to paraphrase in a manner I can understand.

Btw, since it's directly related, I suppose we could include business as a topic. Technology & Business, fgj.

I don't really see any reason for business news to go in the same section as technology news unless it's directly related to technology. Really, business has more in common with politics than with technology, so leaving business news in the news forum makes a lot more sense to me.

Dunno, I just thought there was a difference between the BP oil spill, the attempted coverups and say Sprint partnering with Ericsson Services to work on their 4G network.

There does seem to be a bias towards technology business news, so in that respect it makes some sense.
