Uh, okay? The ending wasn't really the issue with FFXV but alright. No clue whether the planned DLC season 2 was yet another alternate ending or just the more elaborate version of whatever happened here but this here was a big fat meh.

There was a whole ass different alternate endgame and ending. The 15 Tie in novel goes over the events of Episodes Aranea, Lunafreya and the final DLC which would have had Noct, Ardyn, and a Luna resurrected by Bahamut team up after realizing they'd all been played by him and take him and the starscourge down together.
