First “ThatGuyMikey Plays” thread in what, a year and a half? So much me documenting myself beating all of these things lmao. Life got in the way.

Anywho, XIV has been on my radar for a while, and me loving the XVI demo as much as I did pushed me to finally give this a go.

Lancer class, figuring stuff out. Having a pretty swell time already but I’m sure I’ll have a million questions as this is the first MMORPG that I’ve ever touched.

Big fan of being able to shift UI stuff around. Health and XP went straight to the top left

Yeah, it's nice. I have this keyboard, so I arranged all my command buttons to match the shape of the game keys
The downside is that they don't make this keyboard anymore, so when it dies I'm gonna have to relearn everything

Crafting this tiny piece of leather to then be met with a triumphant victory theme was oddly amusing

Yeah it's pretty much up to you. Some people really get into the crafter/gatherer jobs, but I've never really been able to. Got to level 30 or so of leatherworker, and tried mining like...once.

But some people definitely dig it!
