In case you- in the generic sense- didn't realize, the full chat and a bit of the post is available for consumption in the news subforum.

Why do you lot keep doing this kind of thing in the middle of the night? :monster:

Also, chats like these are chaotic, yes; if you really want to use skype chat or whatnot as a serious discussion kinda thing, you have to lay down some strict conversation or debate rules to keep it manageable.

I would have liked to have joined it, but, timezones. Or as the predictive text on my phone calls it, vineymods.

I used to play a game called Planetarion, which had its own busy IRC server. Once a month, the game's creators would join a channel for "creators' hour". To keep it under control, the channel was muted to most people, who could submit their questions to the host by private message. If the creators' answer wasn't satisfactory or if it led to a longer discussion, the relevant people could be voiced (mode +v) so they could talk. There was another one called "authors' hour", which was for people who wrote columns for the site, which included me. They were very successful and they're still being held, despite the game losing most of its players when it started charging.

It would be very easy for us to do something like that ourselves, if we wanted a feedback session with the staff that didn't involve twenty people talking over each other.
