The Wii is already the most popular console hands-down, especially since it manages to appeal to a new and very large target group. With that in mind, I don't think the Wii will get rid of that position in this generation - the average consumer of the console will continue to buy a game every once in a while, for birthdays and christmas and such.
However, I don't think the Wii will be a driving force behind innovation. The newness of its controller has pretty much worn off, also due to the criticism it's received so far. This criticism may diminish somewhat with the new Motion Plus addon for its controller, but it'll only work for supported games. The games that have been made with this new controller do use them originally in a lot of cases, but in the end, won't last too long. I also don't think they're using the full potential of the controller yet - anyone can imagine a golf or tennis game, or something where you have to point at something and press a button, or finally a set of minigames where you have to shake the controller like you're having an epic wank.
The PS3 is pretty much dead, and will remain so until Sony finally decides that they've buggered up on spending too much money on technology. I mean, so far, I haven't seen any games made exclusively for the PS3 that would be impossible to port to the 360 or PC. The Cell processor, whilst awesome in its own right, doesn't seem to really be useful in the games I've seen for the PS3. And I also believe that Sony should finally start dropping the price of the console in order to compete with the 360. In fact, I don't see why one would choose a PS3 over a 360 when you look at the games available to both - as far as I know, the PS3 version wouldn't have any advantages over the 360 version that would make it worth buying a PS3. And buying a PS3 for its exclusive games... meh.
The 360 seems to have the best overall collections of games available for it, and it's at a reasonable price.
In terms of sales, Wii has won the console wars. The other two won't be able to catch up.
In terms of win and games, 360.
PS3 comes last, but it does have some large, exclusive titles in its favor.
